The total cost of the course and certificate is $331 for US citizens.
An online, self-paced caregiver training in American Sign Language (ASL) to prepare students for the American Caregiver Association exam will be offered Summer 2022 through Gallaudet University’s Center for Continuing Education (CCE). Upon completion of the course and the exam, students will receive their caregiver certificate from the ACA.
The National Caregiver Certification Course (NCCC) from Gallaudet University, in collaboration with the American Caregiver Association, is intended to provide relevant and useful information about the most common responsibilities and duties of caregiving. This course is designed specifically for Deaf caregivers and those providing caregiving services to Deaf senior citizens. A sample of topics covered include:
