About
Noel King (she/her) is a curator with the Gallaudet University Office of Arts, Culture, and Experience (ACE). An artist, art therapist, and mental health clinician, her work centers on Deaf culture, accessibility, and community engagement through the arts.
Noel holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Gallaudet University and an MA in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is currently a PhD candidate in Expressive Therapies at Lesley University.
With over 17 years of experience working with Deaf and marginalized communities, Noel integrates art, mental health, and cultural storytelling in her work. As a curator, she develops accessible exhibitions that celebrate Deaf history, creativity, and community stories, including Beyond the Waves: Deaf Art.
