Overview

Graduate Student Orientation (GSO) helps new graduate students connect to university life and their colleagues through program-specific orientation sessions, workshops to acclimate them to campus resources available to them, and vibrant and enjoyable activities like the Bison Walk, Personal Discovery team-building activities, or a Gallaudet Trivia Night.

GSO will take place on Gallaudet University campus from Tuesday, August 19 to Friday, August 22 and is open to all incoming graduate students.

Students who will be living on campus are encouraged to move in on Tuesday, August 19*. Orientation activities will be held from Wednesday, August 20 and last through Friday, August 22.

*Graduate Languaculture Immersion Program (GLIP) participants will move in on Sunday, August 3.

International graduate students who will be living on campus will move in on Sunday, August 17.
