Overview

The goal of the Graduate Languaculture Immersion Program (GLIP) is to provide an immersive bilingual environment where graduate students, both current and new, can build on or develop their knowledge of American Sign Language, Deaf culture(s), and social etiquette. Authentic situations will be provided to participating students with ongoing opportunities for unpacking and creating new expectations for their roles on a signing campus to ensure a positive experience and a strong sense of belonging.

GLIP for 2025-2026 will be from August 4 to August 15 and will cost $750. Campus housing will be available only for students who will live on campus through the fall semester. Students who will be living on campus for GLIP and fall semester will arrive on Sunday, August 3.
