Requirements:

Completion of a master’s degree in deaf education or related education field from an accredited college or university

Certification as a teacher or licensure as a school professional (copy of current license required)

Professional resume

Minimum of three (3) years of teaching or relevant professional experience in an educational system.

Three letters of recommendation (two must be from a current school administrator or educational leader who can attest to the candidate’s professional experience and suitability for educational leadership)

ASLPI score of 3 and/or multi-measurement artifacts showing use of ASL

A one-to-two-page personal statement describing why the applicant is pursuing graduate study in this post-graduate certificate program

A video (5 minutes or less) in ASL explaining what being a transformational leader means to them.
General Application requirements:

A minimum GPA of 3.0 in all previous undergraduate and graduate studies for full admission or a GPA of 2.75 or above for conditional admission

Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate study, including evidence of having received a master’s degree in deaf education or related field from an accredited university
