ASL Connect’s Policies and Procedures

Refund Policy

• The application fee is non-refundable.
• Drop deadlines correspond to late enrollment deadlines:
  – 3rd day for 8‑week courses
  – 5th day for 15‑week courses
• No refunds will be issued after those deadlines.

Adding, Dropping, or Withdrawing from Courses

• A course may be dropped through the third (8 week course) or fifth day (15 week course) of class. You must contact Click to reveal email to request a course drop.  Courses dropped this way will not show on the transcript.
• After the drop deadline, a WD (Withdraw) grade will be assigned.
• Failure to formally drop or withdraw will result in a final grade of F.

Grade Reports

• Grade reports are available in the Workday system for students to view/print.

Transcripts

• Unofficial transcripts may be obtained via Workday if you have an active program of study. If you no longer have access to Workday, official transcripts may be ordered via Parchment.

Courses with the ASL prefix receive Undergraduate transcripts.

Courses with the SLA, PST, PSU, PSG prefixes receive Continuing Education transcripts.

Transferring Credits

• Courses with the ASL prefix are Gallaudet University degree bearing credits.

• Courses with the SLA,  PST, PSU, PSG prefixes are Gallaudet University non-degree credit.

•  If a student plans to transfer Gallaudet credits to another institution, they must secure approval from that institution in advance to ensure credits will be accepted.
