Students in the World Languages and Cultures programs have the world open to them. They can study abroad for a semester in one of the following countries to learn a foreign sign language.
The English Language Institute (ELI) provides an English as a Second Language program for American and international deaf and hard of hearing students to achieve academic, professional, and personal language goals.
Students are also encouraged to take advantage of our worldwide connections to find an internship. In the past, students have interned in all of the following countries:
All students must complete at least one 10-week international internship or a study abroad course in French or Spanish.
The Office for Career Success office and World Languages and Cultures faculty can help students find internships.
