The Library provides the following services for Faculty and Staff in the Gallaudet community:

  • Request for Library Instruction: Please use this Instruction request form to place a request for a Librarian to visit your class. A Librarian will reach out to you shortly once a form has been submitted.
  • Reserve Services:
    • Physical items: If all the students in a class are required to read a book or watch a DVD, the Interim Library can keep it on reserve for the students. Students can use the resource for up to two hours at a time.
    • Required Electronic items: If all the students in a class must read a journal article or book chapter that supplements required textbooks, the Interim Library can post it on blackboard and make sure the posting complies with copyright laws.
    • Additional information about Reserve services can be seen here.
  • Basic information about e-books: Learn more about our e-book collection and how you can access, download, and print an e-book. We can also check the accessibility of the e-books (and other readings) you’d like to use and, if appropriate, provide you with links to post on Blackboard.
