Overview
The Chemistry & Physics Program offers a variety of undergraduate research projects during the academic year and paid summer internships in the following fields:
- environmental chemistry
- nanotechnology
- organic synthesis
- pharmacognosy
Undergraduate students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge hands-on with instrumentation such as:
- high-pressure liquid chromatography
- gas chromatography/mass spectrometry
- atomic absorption spectroscopy
- nuclear magnetic resonance
- ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy instruments
