Dear Dr. Norman:
It was inspiring to hear you and your committee share the latest developments for a much needed museum housed right on the campus of Gallaudet University. We, the members of the alumni board, realize that stories of Gallaudet alumni need to be recorded and stored for future generations. This museum will offer as a perfect vehicle for that purpose, as well as preserving archives. Providing a world-class museum will offer us great preservation of Deaf culture and history. The museum will also offer a great gathering place during Gallaudet homecomings. It is without reservation that the board members of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association go on record expressing our full endorsement of such a valuable endeavor.
Wishing you all the best,
Judith M. Gilliam, Secretary
Gallaudet University Alumni Association
