We understand the stress that students and their families may feel when managing tuition bills. It is important to us that we do everything we can to help ease this burden. Our payment plan allows you to spread out your tuition payments over time instead of making a single lump sum payment. While the total amount owed remains the same, this option provides more time to pay, with smaller and more manageable installments.
The payment plan is designed for individuals who cannot pay the full tuition and fees upfront or who prefer to keep funds in an interest-bearing savings account for as long as possible. The earlier you enroll in a payment plan, the lower your monthly payments will be, as the balance is spread over a longer period of time.
The payment plan is not a loan and does not include interest charges. There is only a small enrollment fee per academic period. Additional features include the ability to set up automatic payments and receive reminders for monthly due dates, as well as multiple payment options such as ACH, credit card, and debit card.
Are there additional fees or deposits to enroll in a payment plan through Transact? With the transition from Nelnet to Transact, a 15% down payment is no longer required to enroll in a payment plan. Instead, a $35.00 service fee is charged at the time of enrollment in the Transact payment plan system.
