Course Overview

DUE TO THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS COURSE TO OUR COMMUNITY, CCE IS OFFERING THIS AT A 50% DISCOUNT ($165.50 PER CREDIT). The emphasis in this course will be on the development and reinforcement of English grammar and vocabulary skills through reading and writing. A grade of IP (In Progress) may be given to any student who has made satisfactory progress but who has not satisfied the requirements for entry into the next level. The requirement for entry into the next level of English is based on the end-of-semester placement test. In order to qualify to take the placement test, students must receive a passing grade in the course, or with permission of the chair.
