Gallaudet is thrilled to welcome Alex Abenchuchan, ’10, producer of The Daily Moth.

Alex is honored to “return to [his] alma mater and provide our community with coverage of a very important event.” Abenchuchan will be covering the installation with Thinaja Nadarajah (Mississauga, Ontario), who will represent Gallaudet’s student body.

Nadarajah, a fourth-year student majoring in psychology and minoring in communication studies and deaf studies, is a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Zeta sorority, works as a front desk assistant at Campus Activities, and serves as a student ambassador for the Office of Admissions. She feels that those opportunities will help her develop her networking and social skills on campus.

Nadarajah is humbled and honored to receive the opportunity to work with The Daily Moth. Her role is to provide a student perspective of this milestone event.

“President Cordano has brought many new exciting perspectives that bring the community together,” said Nadarajah.

Abenchuchan and Nadarajah will work together to cover this historical event. Interviews with members of the community, including President Cordano, will be conducted, as well as coverage of the installation. The news video will be released before the installation on Friday, September 30.
