Sixteen High School Teams Vie for National Academic Bowl Championship
Washington, DC – The14th Annual Academic Bowl for Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Students gets underway April 25 at Gallaudet University’s Kellogg Conference Hotel. The two-day tournament will conclude with the championship match at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 26, and may be viewed live on the National Academic Bowl website.Earlier this year, 76 teams of deaf and hard of hearing students from all-deaf, as well as mainstream, high schools participated in one of five regional contests.
The three highest-ranking teams [plus one at-large team] from those regional tournaments will now confront one another in a bid to capture the National Academic Bowl trophy.
