Understanding the different types of financial aid and choosing the best option for your situation is a vital piece of your academic success. Don’t worry; this test is open book–we’ve compiled a list of Financial Aid options in one place to support you and move you one step closer to becoming a Bison.
Grants
Grants are a need-based Financial Aid option through Federal or institutional programs that you do not have to repay.
Scholarships
Get paid for good grades. Find academically-based financial assistance through Gallaudet’s Merit-based scholarships and many opportunities outside of our institution.
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
Get the training and education you need to secure a future career. Work with your home state’s VR agency to see if you qualify for financial assistance.
