To celebrate the 25th anniversary of DPN which occurs in March 2013, there will be a series of panels and presentations to examine and recognize the significance of this milestone for Gallaudet and the deaf community in the United States and around the world.

Are we better off now than we were 25 years ago?

What are the key transformative changes? What work remains?

What is the legacy of DPN and what is its place in the larger civil rights and disabilities rights movements?

Join former Gallaudet presidents I. King Jordan and Robert R. Davila, and current president T. Alan Hurwitz, as they share their experiences leading this unique institution and give insight into the transformative changes brought by DPN -the positive impact and new challenges.

The panel will be moderated by Professor Brian Greenwald.

Tuesday, February 5
12:30 – 1:50 p.m.
