Financial Aid Important Dates

It is important to remember that you should not wait before applying for financial aid.

Enrollment for:

Fall 2026 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Fall term, complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA.

May 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time.

The Financial Aid Office will accept applications after the deadline. Please note, some aid is “first come, first serve.”

Spring 2027 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Spring term, complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA.

November 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time.

Summer 2026 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Summer term, complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA.

April 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time. Keep in mind that financial aid for the summer is limited.

Federal and Private Loans for:

Fall 2025 and Fall 2026 Term

Last day to request loans: 11/30*

Spring 2026 and Spring 2027 Term

Last day to request loans: 04/30*

*Please note that you must complete both Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN) by the deadline, no exceptions
