The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) recently announced that Gallaudet University Press was one of 10 academic presses to receive a Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act grant. The funds will go toward paying salary expenses, retaining staff, and supporting the core mission of the Press. The NEH says that these funds will allow cultural organizations to continue to preserve and curate humanities collections, advance humanities research, and maintain buildings and core operations. Congratulations to the Press!
