Course Overview
This course examines various forms of oppression by looking across different cultures and communities, and then examines possible parallels occurring within the deaf community. Students are expected to develop a course project at the end of the semester.
Completion of a Deaf Studies course or ASL 4 at Gallaudet in the last 12 months, or screening placement into ASL 5. Contact ASL Connect to schedule an ASL Screening. Permission of department; contact H-Dirksen Bauman with a CC to cce@gallaudet.edu
