Dr. MJ Bienvenu Gives Keynote At SLC Conference
Dr. MJ Bienvenu, a professor in the Department of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Studies, recently garnered the attention of two Utah newspapers. Bienvenu gave the keynote address at a November 7 conference on video relay held in Salt Lake City by Sorenson Communications. Her presentation called for improved training and support for ASL interpreters.
