Congratulations to the Class of 2025! We had a wonderful time celebrating with you at Gallaudet’s 155th Commencement ceremony.
It was a day full of reflection, joy, and new beginnings. Gallaudet wishes our graduates (and new alumni) the best as they go out and make their mark on the world. Remember: you’ll always have a home here at Gallaudet.
During the Graduate Ceremony in the morning, the audience was treated to a keynote speech by Dr. Carol Padden. Then, Lu Ming reflected on her incredible journey, from arriving at Gallaudet as an international student to becoming the Graduate Student Speaker.
In the afternoon, the Undergraduate Ceremony was full of energy. Dr. Tom Humphries provided the keynote address, sharing lessons learned from his life and storied career. Undergraduate Student Speaker Aubrie Bauer brought the house down with her passionate call to embrace constructive criticism.
