Gallaudet logo designs on display; feedback sought

The Logo Redesign Committee invites the campus community to view the final four designs being considered for the new Gallaudet University logo and to give written or video feedback on each of the designs.

All four designs, artist interpretations of those designs, and a feedback submission form for each of the logo designs, can be found at www.gallaudet.edu/logos_feedback.xml. The website and feedback submission form will be available to the campus community during the two-week comment period ending on Friday, September 30.

All comments will be logged and included in a final report to President Hurwitz for his consideration. Video feedback will be accepted. Videos must be uploaded to a service such as YouTube, videos can be made private. Once uploaded, there is a space in the feedback form to enter the video URL.

The feedback forms are anonymous, no names or email addresses are being recorded. Video feedback will only be viewed by President Hurwitz.

The logo designs will also be presented at an October meeting of the University Council, which is an open meeting and the campus community is welcome to attend. A final selection of the new logo will be announced following the fall meeting of the Board of Trustees in October.

The Logo Redesign Committee encourages the campus community to participate in the logo selection process by offering feedback through either the online feedback submission form. All comments will be logged and included in the final report.

The logos were on public display in the Jordan Student Academic Center on September 15 and 16, and in the MSSD Teachers Lounge on September 15.
