Dr. Nicole E. Snell is an Associate Dean of Baccalaureate Programs at Unity Environmental University. She earned her Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication and Information Design from Clemson University, an M.A. in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition from California State University, Northridge, and a B.A. in English Literature from Gallaudet University. With more than a decade of experience in higher education, Dr. Snell has served in faculty and leadership roles across for-profit, public, private, and land-grant institutions. Her teaching interests include crisis communication, technical writing, accessibility and inclusion in communication and public relations. Her research focuses on the intersections of accessible technologies, power, and privilege.
