Dr. Poorna Kushalnagar, ’93; Dr. Shilpa Hanumantha Lacy, G-’15, G-’15 & PhD 2009; and Dr. Donalda Ammons, ’74, are co-authors of a study, “Left Behind and Ignored”: Increasing Awareness and Accessibility of Resources for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias in the Deaf Community, in Public Health Reports. Published since 1878, Public Health Reports is the official journal of the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service. This peer-reviewed journal is published six times per year and features articles and supplements on public health research, practice, pedagogy, and law. Dr. Poorna Kushalnagar, ’93 Dr. Shilpa Hanumantha Lacy, G-’15, G-’15 & PhD 2009 Dr. Donalda Ammons, ’74 Dr. Kushalnagar is Special Assistant to the Provost for Research; Dr. Lacy is an associate professor in the Psychology program, and Dr. Ammons is professor emerita.
