Overview
Interested in performing, collaborating, or trying theatre for the first time? All members of the Gallaudet University community as well as outsiders are encouraged to audition — including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and newcomers to theatre alike. No prior stage experience is required.
There are several flexible ways to audition:
Submit a Self-Tape Audition:
Record and submit your audition anytime before August 30: please send your e-mail with link to either Fall 2026 faculty director MoMo Holt (Alcestis 2020) at Click to reveal email and/or Spring 2027 faculty director Ethan Sinnott (Henry IV) at Click to reveal email
Audition During NSO Week:
In-person audition opportunities will be available during New Student Orientation (NSO) week at the start of the Fall semester.
Schedule a One-to-One Audition Appointment
Prefer a more personal setting? You may arrange an individual audition via FaceTime or Zoom.
We welcome performers of all experience levels, ages, backgrounds, identities, signing styles, and artistic interests. Theatre at Gallaudet thrives on collaboration, creativity, and the unique perspectives of our community.
