The First All Deaf Rugby Team
MSSD’s rugby teams and coach Mark Burke, along with the rugby team from the Hyde Leadership Public Charter School, were interviewed in April. The focus of the story was on how MSSD and Hyde worked together to establish the first all-deaf high school rugby team, becoming friends and competitors along the way.
