The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) named its players of the week for Sept. 24 and two Gallaudet University players were recognized for their outstanding performances. Senior defensive end Jared Pearce (Reno, Nev.) was named Defensive Player of the Week and senior cornerback Tony Tatum (Gardendale, Ala.) was named Special Teams Player of the Week for their contributions in a dominant 35-7 victory over Apprentice School last Saturday afternoon at Hotchkiss Field.
