Influence of Language Modality on the Neural Substrates of Social Communicative Interactions
Overview
One major area of interest in our lab is to understand how language experience and learning affect the neural networks supporting arithmetic fluency. Through behavioral and neuroimaging studies we hope to understand how a visual language supports proficient arithmetic processing as well as the consequences of late language acquisition. Data from a behavioral and EEG study with adults are currently being analyzed while two graduate students are working on an fMRI study.
We are currently recruiting adult participants who are interested in joining our paid study. Please sign up or contact us if you want to know more!
