Course Overview
This course serves as an introduction to Latine Deaf Studies. Students will explore the key concepts and questions that emerge at the intersection of Latine Studies and Deaf Studies, including identity formation, borderlands, migration, legislatures, representation, education, art, literature, history, community engagements, and languaging practices. Students will have the opportunity to engage in research and analysis on these and other areas of inquiry in the emerging field of Latine Deaf Studies.
