The Schuchman Deaf Documentary Center invites you to create a 60-second documentary!
Entries will be accepted from current Gallaudet undergraduate students for a cash prize.
- 1st place $350
- 2nd place $200
- 3rd place $100
Submission deadline: April 1, 2024.
Documentaries will be judged by the Schuchman Deaf Documentary Center team: filmmakers, artists, writers, and educators. Scoring criteria will be based on originality, creativity, plot, pacing, structure, characters, and cinematography.
Winners will be announced at Awards Day.
Requirements:
- Film length: 60 seconds maximum, including title and credits.
- Film technique: horizontal orientation with a mobile device.
- Captions are required.
- Still images and historic videos may be used (ensure usage rights and permissions)
