About

William Burgess is an ordained Baptist minister. His research largely focuses on the relationship between communication and religion. His research interests include prophetic rhetoric, corporate communication, integrated marketing, communication ethics, phenomenology and African American culture and religion. He received his Bachelor of Arts from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., where his dual concentration was media studies as well as theology and religious studies. He received his Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in rhetoric at Duquesne University.
