Lindsay Buchko

Short Biography:

Dr. Buchko came to Gallaudet in 2008 with a wealth of corporate experience.  She was an industrial engineer with Intel Corportation for three years. She had also worked at International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation and at IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center, and with Motorola Corporation. At Gallaudet, she served as a coordinator for the General Studies Program for six years. She developed and taught Quantitative Reasoning courses for liberal arts majors. In addition to her classroom initiatives, Dr. Buchko served as a member of the Gallaudet Faculty Senate and Faculty Salary and Benefits Committee. In 2014, Dr. Buchko joined the Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness and continues to serve as the Director of Institutional Research.

Dr. Buchko spends her "free" time participating in various activities that keeps her moving, including and not limited to running, cycling, hiking, and kayaking.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and boating.
