Dr. Mulrooney is Gallaudet University's Strategic Planning and Integration Manger in the Ofice of Planning under the President's Office. She is responsbile for the development, implementation and monitoring of the university's strategic plans. In this capacity she works closely with the Executive Team and Division leaders to ensure the integration of everyone's work to move us closer to achieving the Gallaudet Promise by 2030.
Prior to joining the Office of Planning in the fall of 2019, she was the Director of the Center for Bilingual Teaching and Learning (CBTL) and an associate professor in the Linguistics Department. Dr. Mulrooney was the Co-Chair of the Bilingual Mission Framework Taskforce 2017-2019 and a participant in the 2021-2022 SCUP Emerging Leaders Program.
Her educational background includes a B.A. in History from Brown University, a MA and PhD in Linguistics from Gallaudet University.
