Jason Eastman is the Public and Media Relations Manager for University Communications. He shares the amazing stories of Gallaudet's students, faculty, and staff. He also coordinates the Hi5 newsletter.
Before joining Gallaudet, Jason worked for the Seattle Office for Civil Rights. As a part of the Race & Social Justice Initiative team, he used his communications skills to advocate for racial equity in the City of Seattle. Prior to the City of Seattle, he worked as a Grantwriter and Communications Manager for a nonprofit serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Jason is inspired by using creativity to make the world a better place. In his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling.
