Glenn Lockhart

Glenn is director of operations in University Communications, which works to communicate the Gallaudet story to the world. In support of that, he oversees budgets, office platforms, and ad hoc projects. He also represents UC on the University's IT Steering Committee.

Previously he was director of research operations and compliance in the Office of Research (2022-2023), executive director at VL2 (2020-2022), board liaison in the President’s Office (2018-2020), and director of communications at the Clerc Center (2012-2018). 

You can catch him on campus at gatherings of the Turn-a-Page-Together program, hosted by DEDI, in which he has participated since 2012. His past service to the University includes:

 - Co-chair, MSCHE accreditation Standard One workgroup (2021-2023)

 - Member, Inclusive Excellence Ambassadorship program (2019-2022)

 - Co-chair, Executive Web Management Team (2014-2017)

 - Member, Presidential Search Advisory Committee (2015-2016)

 - Member, Gallaudet Sesquicentennial Steering Committee (2012-2014)

Glenn enjoys crossword puzzles and running. He recently began to ski with a helmet (safety first!). He often encourages new employees to max out on TSP matching. 

Glenn received his MMC in mass communication from Arizona State University and his BA in English from Gallaudet University.
