About

Angela Vilavong has worked various jobs until she finally found her passion. Over the last 11, she has been providing support and training in various positions and methods. She began working with Purple/Zvrs corporation as a customer service representative and was quickly promoted to manager for her exceptional customer service. After 5 years, she began working with the Deaf disabled community at Toolworks. Angela briefly worked as a community living on-call staff, before she hastily was promoted to Community Living Program Manager. No matter the job title, Angela has provided engaging and diverse training that focuses on bilingual and client-centered, visually accessible material, hands-on approach to customer and community service.

 

Now, she works as Instructional Learning Specialist with Gallaudet University to develop ASL/English learning materials for all platforms and to a variety of audiences. She continues to bring the same approach to ensuring students have access to a higher education. While providing quality support and resources for teachers to help guide their content to all students.
