Democracy Federal Credit Union

Employees and their family members of the University are eligible to become members of the Democracy Federal Credit Union (DFCU) by purchasing one share ($5.00). Savings may be payroll deducted. Shuttle Transportation

Transit Choice Program

Employees may participate in the Transit Choice Program which allow them to purchase WMATA transit benefits through pre-tax payroll deductions. The 2020 IRS limit for both transit and parking is $255 per month. In order to enroll into this program, employees must full out the election form available at HR Information & Forms (Intranet) or at Gallaudet University’s Payroll Office in College Hall 114.
