Gallaudet Across the country
The GURCs were established in 1977. Through partnerships with host institutions, the four GURC share Gallaudet’s undergraduate and graduate programs and the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center’s resources and expertise through training programs, workshops and conferences, youth programs, technical assistance, and consultation with deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their communities.
Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts is the seat of the Gallaudet University Regional Center-East.
GURC East serves the northeastern portion of the United States, spanning across Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (North Campus) in Talladega, Alabama is the seat of the Gallaudet University Regional Center-South.

GURC-West serves the western portion of the United States and its territories in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
