Award Recipients

Gallaudet University annually awards the following honors and recognitions under the Academic Affairs Unit (among others):

1. Distinguished Faculty Award: recognizes an individual on the faculty who exemplifies the stature of the entire university faculty. 
2. Honorary Degree Award: recognizes extraordinary contributions to a specific field or to society in general.
3. Faculty Emeritus Award: recognizes faculty with 15 or more years of distinguished service as a faculty member and retired within the last ten years.
4. Undergraduate Awards Program: recognizes and celebrates the achievements of undergraduate students with departmental and program awards.
