Application Checklist
Get ready for Undergraduate Student Orientation and your arrival onto campus for your first semester by completing these steps. Take note—more than a few of them are required.
You can find instructions for most, if not all, of the steps below in your Admissions Portal.
- Activate Your Gallaudet User Account
- Check Your Gallaudet Email
- Pay the $200 Enrollment Deposit
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the seasonal flu
- Submit your Final and Official Transcripts
- If Official Transcripts include evidence of college credit, contact the Transfer Credit Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office to schedule an Transfer Credit Evaluation
- Complete required ASL Placement Tests
- Complete the Course Selection Profile
- Complete the Housing Application
- Sign up for a Meal Plan
- Complete the Course Selection Profile
- Submit Health History and Immunization Form
- Submit proof of Health Insurance if requesting a waiver
- Add authorized payers (if desired) in GallyPay
- Complete Business Registration
Inside the Admissions Portal, you will also find information about requesting academic accommodations if you are a student with documented disabilities other than deafness.
International Students
Get in touch with your admissions counselor and the International Student and Scholar Services Office to ensure they have all needed paperwork and visa requirements prepared.
