Entries will be accepted from Gallaudet undergraduates for a cash prize.
1st place $350, Runner up: $100
Submission deadline: March 30, 2022.
Documentaries will be judged by the Schuchman Deaf Documentary Center team: filmmakers, artists, writers, and educators. Scoring criteria will be based on originality, creativity, plot, pacing, structure, characters, and cinematography.
Winners will be announced April 21, 2022.
Requirements:
Film length: 60 seconds maximum, including title and credits.
Film technique: horizontal orientation with a mobile device.
Captions required.
Still images and historic videos may be used (ensure usage rights and permissions)
