She was raised in Ontario, Canada and moved to Washington, DC, for her university education. When she graduated from university with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Information Systems, she immediately got a contract job with Gallaudet University. The contract job ended up in a permanent job with Gallaudet University. During her tenure with Gallaudet University, she graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Master of Sciences degree in Instructional Technology in Philadelphia, PA.
During her tenure with Gallaudet, she has worked in different positions with Academic Technology and Technology Services. Currently, she is a manager for Cloud/Endpoint Engineering and Administration at Technology Services.
In her spare time, she likes to go on hikes with her dog, Bailey, playing geocaching.
