Federal Pell Grant
Eligibility Criteria:
- Awarded based on the Student Aid Index (SAI), as determined by the FAFSA.
- Undergraduate; first bachelor’s degree
- Eligibility is based, in part, on student enrollment during each semester. If enrollment fluctuates, the Pell Grant may fluctuate. If a student withdraws or receives a non-passing grade for a class, we must confirm that the student attended at least one session of that class. If you did not attend a class for which you withdrew or received a non-passing grade, your Pell funding will be reduced.
Terms of Award:
- Based on the need
- Award amounts can change yearly. For award year amount maximums, visit Federal Pell Grants.
- Must be enrolled at least half-time; less than half-time enrollment allowed in certain circumstances
- Cannot receive more than 12 full-time semesters (600%)
- There is an annual Pell limit of 150%. Students enrolled full-time for the Fall and Spring may have eligibility for the Summer if enrolled at least half-time. Part-time students who attend Fall and/or Spring may have Summer eligibility.
