Lauren Brown

Lauren is a videographer and film editor for the University Communications department, where she brings stories to life. She  plays an integral role on the Hi5 Team, filming signers to produce compelling news content. Lauren graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film. Before joining the University Communications team, she worked for Gallaudet's ASL Connect program.

Lauren’s connection to Gallaudet University runs deep, beginning with her enrollment at Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES) and continuing partly through her collegiate years. Having spent much of her life on campus, she considers Gallaudet her second home. Despite being reserved by nature, Lauren is a devoted cinephile. She immerses herself in the world of film both professionally and personally.
