About
As the Manager for Education Abroad and International Fellowships, I help students find and join study abroad programs, internships in other countries, and apply for scholarships and fellowships like Fulbright, Gilman, and Boren. I make sure our programs are accessible for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and signing students.
I work with faculty to create programs that are a good fit for Gallaudet students. I also help students with the application process, finding funding, and getting ready to travel. My goal is to give students life-changing experiences that support their learning, career goals, and personal growth.
Before coming to Gallaudet, I worked in international education for ten years. As a student, I studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and Morocco, interned in El Salvador, volunteered in Guatemala, and studied in Germany as a child. These experiences changed my life and are a big reason why I do this work today. I speak or sign six languages, and I love helping students build confidence, connect across cultures, and grow as global leaders.
