Since 1971, Counseling Programs have graduated and placed more than 750 outstanding counselors in a wide range of settings throughout the world. Graduates from the programs work in schools, community mental health agencies, residential treatment facilities, hospitals, private practice, and federal, state, and local government agencies.
Specialty areas are just as diverse, including play therapy, addictions counseling, vocational rehabilitation, and functional behavioral assessment, as well as individual, family, couples, and group counseling.
In addition to traditional counseling roles, graduates also use their skills to work as educators, researchers, consultants, and advocates.
All recent Counseling alumni are employed.
