People with disabilities are the largest minority group in the United States. Yet their enduring legacy in public administration is not well known. This course will explore the intellectual history and persistent challenges of people with disabilities in the field and practice of public administration. This class is a seminar class that focuses on student-driven learning and application about the role of people with disabilities in public administration. Relying on texts, cases, and simulations, this class will enhance personal and professional knowledge of future public servants about the important role of people with disabilities in public administration.
