The Deaf Health Equity is Gallaudet’s premier deaf health research facility that works to merge accessibility and health outcomes. Dedicated to improving accessibility for quality health services, the center focuses on conducting research, sharing results, and engaging with the community. Past research projects have focused on areas such as deaf caregiver health, deaf women’s health, deaf aging, deaf sexual and gender minorities, and the Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS-ASL).
