Academics

Gallaudet produces an Annual Report of Achievements (ARA) every January for the United States Department of Education to comply with the Education of the Deaf Act (EDA). The EDA specifies the data and information we need to report about our programs and students. The ARA also covers what the university has accomplished in the past fiscal year as well as incorporates a research section that has both profiles of research studies and lists of academic accomplishments and activities.

The report is also used to share information with other groups, like donors and foundations, but its main goal is to meet the EDA’s reporting requirements. The ARA is managed by the planning office.
