Gallaudet Univeristy
University Budget Committee

Welcome to the Web site of the Gallaudet University Budget Committee (UBC), a committee that represents various campus constituencies: faculty, staff, students, and operating divisions. The UBC is responsible for coordinating the University's annual budget development process and for providing liaison with the United States Department of Education. These responsibilities are closely related because Gallaudet receives the bulk of its income in the form of an annual appropriation from Congress, and the Department of Education oversees the University's appropriation for the Federal government.

Gallaudet's budget for any fiscal year starts on October 1 and ends on the following September 30. For example, Fiscal Year 2008 began on October 1, 2007 and ends on September 30, 2008. The links on this page will take you to the budgets for Fiscal Years 2001-2008. Each budget document describes the process by which the budget was developed. With the exception of the current FY 2008 document, the budget documents also include updated 5 year financial plans.

The University's audited financial statement for FY 2007 (PDF) is available at the Division of Adminstration and Finance home page.

If you have any questions regarding the budget process or the budget documents, please feel free to contact the administrator responsible for preparing final budget documents:
